The North American Virtual Console platform is Donkey Kong’s territory this week – literally. Three Donkey Kong Land games come to the 3DS eShop while three Donkey Kong Country games emerge on the map of the Wii U eShop. 3DS owners get two cute-looking (but not very promising gameplay-wise) licensed games based on toys, be they Luv Me Buddies for North America or Hello Kitty for Europe. North America gets IronFall: Invasion, which got a very positive review from us, Titan Attacks! attacks both regions, and Europe gets some more unique titles instead of Donkey Kong uniformity for its eShop update. Around the World in 80 Days, a match-3 puzzler, arrives on the DSiWare platform – could we be seeing the beginnings of a DSiWare revival?
