Animal Crossing: New Leaf launched a couple of days ago, and players will be able to receive exclusive content for the game if they visit any of the participating Best Buy Nintendo Zone locations. These SpotPass items can be downloaded only once per player, can be used while in-game, and are available for a limited time.
List of items that can be downloaded (and times) :
- Raccoon Wall Clock (June 16th to June 29th, 2013)
- Cat Tower (June 30th to July 13th, 2013)
- Suitcase (July 14th to July 27th, 2013)
- Double Neck Guitar (July 28th to August 10th, 2013)
These items are not available in-game. That means, you can only get your hands on one of them if you visit a participating Best Buy location on the specified dates, or if one of your Nintendo 3DS friends send you the item via multiplayer gameplay.
How to find a participating Best Buy location
To find a participating Best Buy location near you, head over to Nintendo’s Nintendo Zone web page and make a search. Scroll down and you should notice a search box and a map. Don’t forget to carry your Nintendo 3DS and Animal Crossing: New Leaf game. Enjoy!
