List of Shin Megami Tensei IV DLC

Shin Megami Tensei IV is one of those Nintendo 3DS games with downloadable content (DLC). This post will keep readers updated with the old and new DLC for the game. We here at 3DS Pedia will also try to keep this list updated as soon as downloadable content is revealed for the game. Descriptions of each DLC were also provided.

List of Shin Megami Tensei IV DLC (North America)

Visage Pack (free) – three delivery challenge quests. Each of these quests give the player an exclusive head look item as a reward.

White Samurai Apparel (free for a limited time) – three delivery challenge quests. Each quest rewards the player with an armor piece of the white samurai set. The white samurai set helps out in the early stages of the game.

Review: Worth grabbing while it’s free.

Experience of the Afterlife ($1.99) – a challenge quest that rewards the player with bonus experience-giving items for both the protagonist and his demons. It also unlocks Fairy Oread for demon fusion. This quest is recommended for players who are deeper in Naraku.

Symbolic Equipment ($1) – three delivery challenge quests. Each quest rewards the player with an armor piece of the exclusive Freedom Armor set.

Underworld Money-Maker ($2.99) – a challenge quest that lets the player collect items with high resale value. The quest also allows you to unlock Beast Asterius for demon fusion. It is recommended to reach Ikebukuro before purchasing this DLC.

Death Has Its Applications ($2.99) – a challenge quest that lets the player collect bonus App Point giving items. It also allows the player to unlock Fiend Plasma for demon fusion. It is recommended to reach Ikebukuro before purchasing this DLC.

Review: Apps Points aren’t the easiest thing to get in SMT IV. Well worth the purchase.

Overlord Equipment ($1.49) – three delivery challenge quests. Each quest rewards the player with an exclusive armor piece of the Demon’s Skin set. These quests can be accepted early in the game.

Clipped Wings 1 ($1.49) – a challenge quest to defeat the Archangels Uriel and Raphael. After completing this quest, the player can fuse Herald Uriel and Raphael. The downloadable content’s description states that the content relates to the game’s main storyline and it is recommended to play at the end of the game – Endgame.

Snake Scale Equipment ($1.49) – three delivery challenge quests. Each quest rewards the player with an armor piece of the exclusive Deity Scales set.

Note: These quests can be accepted early in the game.

Clipped Wings 2 ($2.49) – a challenge quest to defeat Archangels Gabriel and Michael. After completing this quest, the player can fuse Herald Gabriel and Michael. Similar to Clipped Wings 1, this downloadable content’s description states that the content relates to the game’s main storyline and it is recommended to play at the end of the game – Endgame.

Ancient One of the Sun ($2.49) – a challenge quest to defeat Ancient of Days. According to the DLC’s description, Ancient of Days is a part of God in the game, and completing this quest allows you to fuse Godly Ancient of Days. The downloadable content’s description also states that this quest relates to the game’s main storyline.

The Eternal Youth ($2.49) – a challenge quest to defeat the Eternal Youth, Sanat Kumara. Take note that this quest relates to the game’s main storyline and after defeating Sanat Kumara, it will be possible to fuse Chaos Sanat.

Radiant Equipment ($1.49) – three delivery challenge quests. Each quest rewards the player with an armor piece of the exclusive Traje de Luces set.

For the Past… For the Future ($2.99) – a challenge quest to defeat Masakado, Tokyo’s guardian deity. According to the DLC’s description, this quest relates to the game’s main storyline, and it is recommended to tackle post-game with all quests completed. After completing this quest, it will be possible to unlock Fury Masakado’s Shadow for fusion.
