Racing for grandpa!
Chevrolet Camaro Wild Ride 3D (or like it’s called here, Race To The Line) is already on the eShop but sadly it isn’t the experience you’re looking for.
As you can see from the title, ‘Race To The Line’ is a racing game. That means fun and speed, right? Well, not this time. The controls of the game are mediocre but the worst part is the speed. You can reach 160 KM/H but it feels like walking is faster.
The AI cars aren’t good either. You can also watch them crashing into the wall and it doesn’t look normal. With the lack of fun, speed and AI, the last thing to add is the poor track design of the game.
GRAPHICS & SOUND
The game’s graphics are just awful, with basic textures and low quality details of the cars. In addition, there are frame drops. The 3D effect for the other way is okay but using the 3D doesn’t change the experience that you will have with this game.
The music is decent, making it feel like a game from 10 years ago. The FX sounds on the other hand is lacking, that includes the emotion of the sound of the car engine.
The presentation of the game is okay. It’s also translated like most of Enjoy Gaming’s titles.
There was no tutorial mode during the writing of this review (or it was tough to find). If you want to learn the controls of the game, there are only two ways: learning by yourself in the game or by reading the in-game manual (home menu).
The experience I had with this game is just lacking and lacking, and the low price tag doesn’t help either.
VERDICT: 15/100 (Bad)
This game is just proof of how bad a racing game can be with the lack of speed and fun. Unfortunately, I can’t find a reason to play it.
