Pokken Tournament was one of the upcoming Wii U games that made an appearance in today’s Nintendo Direct, and it revealed Shadow Mewtwo as a playable character. Even though players will be able to use Shadow Mewtwo in battle, there are special conditions to unlock him.

Of course, if you want to use Shadow Mewtwo right away in the game, you can scan a Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card on your Wii U’s GamePad. The amiibo card will be offered in the first production run of the game.
Pokken Tournament will be available for the Wii U in Spring 2016.
